116. An officer who has chosen an end-of-engagement indemnity shall receive an indemnity equivalent to 4 months of salary per year of continuous service, including service as a union member or unionizable non-member, with one or several employers in the public or parapublic sectors. However, the minimum amount of the indemnity shall be 6 months’ salary and the maximum shall be 12 months’ salary.
